ASTORIA SCHOOL DISTRICT CERTIFIED STAFF BENEFITS
Astoria School District Certified staff must enroll in MODA Medical Plan 5 per contract and the medical premium is paid in full.
Certified staff receive $170.00 towards their Dental/Vision premiums, outlined in the Certified Rate Sheet. HEALTH REIMBURSEMENT ARRANGEMENT (HRA)
In addition to Moda medical, Certified staff are enrolled in a Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) provided by the district to offset additional costs and designed to reduce all certified staff member’s deductible amounts to $350.00. Have Other Insurance?
If you have other insurance coverage, you can choose to opt out of district-provided insurance.* The district will deposit $600.00 a month ($7200.00/year) into an HRA VEBA account that can be used towards medical costs.
*Note: You must opt out of district offered medical, dental, and vision for this option. Medicare recipients are not eligible. Proof of other insurance will be required.
Basic Life Insurance and Optional Employee Life Plans
Optional Spouse/Domestic Partner Life Plans
