Aitor came to Astoria School District from the Consejo Hispano, where he was the Assistant Director.

Aitor brings a wealth of experience with outreach to parents and families. He has a strong background in translating, interpreting, and working directly with families to help with school and community resources. He is also a parent in the district. 

Betzaida Barajas (Betzy), Family Liaison Assistant

Betzy recently moved to Astoria and came to the District from the banking sector. She was a translator for the United States Coast Guard during her years of service and is currently working on a degree from Bushnell University.

She brings enthusiasm, care, and experience to the school district and is excited to work with others.
