Board of Directors, Position 2 Vacancy

The Astoria School District Board of Directors is actively seeking one applicant to serve on the school district’s Board of Directors through June 2011.

Any interested citizen, who is a resident of Astoria Public Schools for a least one year, is invited to submit his or her name to Superintendent Craig Hoppes.  Interested parties may download an application from the district website, www.astoria.k12.or.us, or visit the school district office, 785 Alameda Avenue, Astoria, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM – 4:00 P.M.

The closing date for applications is 4:00 P.M., August 9, 2010.  Date and time of interviews will be announced.

Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) Report Cards

The link below will direct you to the Astoria School District Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) Report Cards issued by the State of Oregon.  Each report contains a specific school narrative and district background information.  The report cards are utilized by staff members to develop various improvement strategies and are one of the many tools used to successfully evaluate programs in our district.
