Sign-Up Information

Greetings from the Astoria Transportation Department! We want transportation to be safe, efficient, and successful for all children. Therefore, we can only accommodate one pick-up and one drop-off location for students per school year. Permanent changes during the year need to be made through your school office and may take 3-5 days to process.
Please complete the information using the Google transportation sign-up form to reflect your transportation needs for the coming school year. Please also use this form link to opt out of district bus transportation. You only need to complete this form once per year.

Bus routes and times will be posted on our district website before the school year starts. If you have a split-family household and will require multiple pick-up and drop-off locations, please indicate that on your sign-up form, and the transportation department will contact you.
- All students must be on time and ready to board the bus at the scheduled time.
- Please have your elementary child ready at least 10 minutes before the scheduled pick-up time for the first two weeks of the school year. This ensures that your child arrives at school on schedule.
- An adult must be present at the bus stop for kindergarten students. If an adult is not present the driver will try to deliver your child at the end of the route. If no one is still at the drop-off location, we will return the child to the school.
- To maintain the safety of all children, we will use one pick-up and one drop-off location. These may be different places for the morning and afternoon.
- Student bus “seat saving” is not permitted.
- A parent cannot change bus stop locations from day to day. Any changes could take from 3-5 days and must be permanent changes (more than 30 days).
- Contact your school office to request permanent changes to bus stop locations.

¡Saludos del Departamento de Transporte de Astoria! Queremos que el transporte sea seguro, eficiente y exitoso para todos los niños. Las rutas y los horarios de los autobuses se publicarán en la pagina web de nuestro distrito antes de que comience el año escolar. Si tiene una casa dividida y necesita varios lugares de recogida y entrega, comuníquese con el departamento de transporte.
- Todos los estudiantes deben estar a tiempo y listos para entrar en el autobús a la hora asignada.
