Healthy and Safe Schools Plan & Test Results
OAR 581-022-2223 requires school districts to develop a Healthy and Safe Schools Plan. Astoria School District takes these environmental issues seriously. The four areas covered by the Healthy and Safe Schools Plan include; radon, lead in drinking water, lead paint and integrated pest management.

LCES Pesticide Application Notice May 9th 2022
Astoria School District will be spraying an approved Oregon Department of Agriculture pesticide on Monday, May 9th, 2022 at Lewis and Clark Elementary. The pesticide will be applied to the exterior of the building to mitigate a significant ant problem and will be applied by a state licensed applicator.
