Students in grades 3-12 are using the services offered in Google Apps for classroom work. With parent permission, students will be assigned a Google account where they will be able to work on reports, stories, presentations, class projects and more. We do not allow students in grades 3-5 to have Google email accounts so we have turned off that feature for those students.
Google Apps for Education runs on an Internet domain owned by Astoria School District and is intended for educational use. This permission form describes the responsibilities of the school, students and parents in using Apps for Education on the Astoria School District domain.
Before we can issue a Google account to our students, we must have a signed agreement from the parent/guardian and the student. Please return the signed form to your student's school office. You can print the form through this link.
